Frogmore is a very traditional boat, both inside and out. The hull was built by Steve Priest at Brinklow Boats and is a beautiful example of a replica Josher, complete with authentic rivets, and the finest shaped bow you are likely to see anywhere on the system. The boat handles remarkably well and responds to the lightest of touches. The paintwork colours are traditional Green, Red and Cream and compliment the woods chosen for the interior. We were delighted to be the chosen by the owners of this masterpiece to fit out the interior and have done our utmost and used our considerable skills to be equal to the task. We used Oak and Mahogany, inlaying the Oak into the Mahogany in some places and inlaying Mahogany into the Oak in others. We used thick beams in the ceiling to give a cottage-like effect, which has been enhanced by the choice of soft furnishings. The boat has a reconditioned Gardener engine in it's own engine room. You will see from the web site pictures the engine room during construction and painting and the lovely finish achieved by the carpentry and painting skills working together. Finished off by a traditional "Boatman's Cabin" painted to perfection in darker reds than those usually used, to separate it from the bright red of the engine room. The final result is a craft anyone would be proud to own, fully equiped for long or short term cruising. A boat to turn heads everywhere it goes. Features:
